Salina Turda - Christmas Holiday 2019

Back on May 13, 2019, I visited Salina Turda for my first time with my Navy family.  This Christmas, I was able to share the incredible experience with my wonderful family.  To find out more amazing information about this Turda landmark, please visit my original page.  These pictures add more insight into the beauty 150+ meters below the surface of the Earth and you get to see some human natural wonders.

The texture of the walls where the moisture grabs a hold and grows more salt outcrops.

It was really funny how scared the girls were when we walked around the wooden deck, staring all the while at the amusement park dozens of meters below.  I couldn't help myself but to walk VERY heavily and cause the deck to shake!!!!

Looking closely, you can see the teeth of the saws which cut the paths we walked.

No one wanted to share a boat ride with me...I guess I deserve it for scaring them on the walk way above our heads now.

Salty salactites inching their way down from the high ceilings.

Sharing a Ferris wheel ride inside the salt mine with my two beautiful women.

Man this lighting makes me look old - or is it just my old skin?

Miniture golf inside the amusement park

The Teresa Mine - whodda thought they would honor her visit with her own mine?

Going up the stairs is a lot more difficult than running down them!
