Firm Job Offer!

     It's closer to being official now.  Today I received my Firm Job Offer (FJO) from the US Navy to deploy to Romania.  My report date is 19 January 2019.  I was originally thinking I would have to go on 5 January but a delay caused by the Air Force medical system pushed my report date back one full pay period.  The next 45 days or so will be pretty busy as I scramble to get my official orders, "official" red passport, immunizations, movers in to pack up and send 600 lbs of necessities over to my new home for the next two years or so.  That doesn't take into consideration finishing everything I can in the house so Teresa and the kids are all set in my absence and selling my GTO - it's not fair to put her in storage for this long so I'll pass her along to another lover of great American iron.  I'll just have to buy another muscle car when I return.
